Man Utd are suffering from the 'sheep' syndrome.

Fergie was a one off. They are looking for the new Fergie& he doesn't exist . Yet.

Why none of the chairmen from the ' best league in the world' don't have a go in signing Simeone, beats me.

The guy gets screwed over by his chairman every season, yet keeps Atletico Madrid up there.

Must be worth a punt by someone , surely?

Watching Sir Alex in the stand last night I can't help but think if asked to return on a temporary basis he'd jump at it....
 
We had tickets for the game. I couldn't get away from work in time to go so my boy went down with another member of the family. He's just back, having thoroughly enjoyed himself.

Looks like more trouble is coming their way in the form of a report to Uefa about the behaviour of the away fans. The telly didn't show it but my lad says the police had to go into the Man Utd section at half time because of things being thrown and general disorder and stayed there for the remainder of the game. He also confirmed the press reports that they were also singing songs about Hillsborough. Media saying that this has been reported by the match observer.

And Fellaini is bound to be sitting out next week after his elbow on Emre Can...
 
You could see how much Scholes was hurting last night, no wonder, Man U have went from revered and feared to predictable and soft.

LVG is an arrogant man who will be lucky to see the end of the season as Man U manager IMO.
 
Speaking to my friends who are huge Reds they don't want Giggs anywhere near it, they all want Mourinho as they feel he is the only one that can implement a serious challenge.

Atletico Madrid are a shower of dirty hacking bastards that play a style of footy that makes your eyes bleed in my opinion. Which may explain why nobody wants him!

Maybe they'd like to visit ibrox and renew a few old friendships!

You're right Jack. Really all they need to make them the perfect in the animal stakes is to sign Sergio Ramos.

Anyone with a disciplinary record like his, deserves to play with a bunch of hatchet men.:hmmm

Mmmmh... reasons not to like Simeone.

* man's a miserable and genuine ****
* as a player, a frequent and blatant cheat
* as a manager, a ball of frustration out of touch (sic)

I'm usually pretty forgiving of defenders; they have a tough time with attackers hogging the headlines and glory and salaries. But most stick to their task with dogged attention for detail which will repay them in the long run. Simeone was a psycho and not in a Stuart Pearson kinda way.

I was gonna say to greencol did you (n)ever see him play? If never, a boon, if ever, a real pi$$er of a downer.

I did watch him on TV of course, but animal though he was, it was his manegerial record I was mostly referring to.

My United family are pretty much the opposite. They've seen enough success to sink at fleet of ships so it's possibly more important to play good football-something Mourinho teams just dinnae do. He also doesn't play youth team players, so do the 8/9 players LVG has blooded this year get papped? Some of them look pretty good.

Can they no give LVG a longer contract. As a long suffering Citeh fan its hilarious.
