Underrated? I don’t think so. It is still revered here in the USA and is a permanent fixture on at least one cable channel which I watch every morning. A piece of Trivia that pops up every now and again is “what was the highest ever audience for a series finale?” M*A*S*H.

It is such a great show. Great characters and cast. The actor that plays Radar has a deformed hand and when filming he almost always has it hidden. Unless you knew about it you don’t notice the lengths they went to to hide it. Very occasionally is his deformed hand seen on screen and even then it is fleeting.

RIP “Hot Lips” Houlihan.
 
Maybe under rated here then.
Didn’t know Radar was short handed though.

Wonderful programme. Funny, touching & full of drama. I watched it from start to finish a few years ago, I could easily watch it all again.
 
I mind reading one time that some of the actors preferred the version over here that never had the canned laughter.
