Recently the laws changed to make booze available 10am-10pm every day including Sundays.

The shops seem to have taken advantage of this but I've noticed not may pubs have.

Is it just a case of them not having updated their licenses or is it down to staffing/rotas etc.?

Anyone know of any pubs in Leith open early on Sunday and serving before the game?

I think its down to staffing as on your average day it might not be worth their while opening a couple of hours early, whereas the shops would be open early so from 10 they can sell bevvy.

As far as Im aware its the same licence as previous but the terms of it that have been altered.

My local got the new Sunday hours and I doubt they asked for it. They don't intend to ever use it. So you could well be right there.

I read on another messageborad that the Hibs club is open to non members for a 50p 'donation' on your way in.

Brainwrong, what time you want to hit the pub?

Thought as much.
