Cannot fault our efforts would be another amazing coup if we pulled it off.
 
I doubt we'd have been going for both. It would be one or the other. Don't get me wrong, I'd have loved Henderson back too but we still need a defensive midfielder.

Upping the energy in our midfield would lessen the need for an out and out defensive mid.
Plus for Liam to still be finding clubs in Italy, must show his game has evolved, they appreciate a different kind of midfielder, he wouldnt be the same player that left us.
 
I think it's likely we went for Omeonga when the Henderson deal fell through.
We really are obsessed as a club with bringing back former players. However in January you just take whatever quality you can get.

I agree with you a wee bit but whenever players like Omeonga and Henderson are available we'd daft not to go for them. They are very good quality for the likes of us! In my opinion :))
