The focus is no longer economics, was the point of my obtuse comment.

More than anything it’s just the irony that amused me. I mean the left did propose their own last year, to have it resoundingly rejected. Looks like this one has been too, if not so emphatically. Yet another country where no one wants what either side is offering, perhaps !

Chile is a lost country.

A damn shame to a once incredible place.

Damaged beyond repair....and will never recover.

Yep was there in January and found it to be a nice country. Parts of Santiago are a bit dodgy but you've got loads of nice, affluent seaside resorts along the Pacific as well as the vineyards etc.

You obviously don't keep up with current affairs though.
Gun crimes,kidnappings,stabbing,murders...are all at alltime highs.
Alot of Colombian Cartel their now also.
Alot of Venezuelan and Haitians that are desperate...as Government not interested in helping.

There's gated communities everywhere....but nothing an angle grinder won't get through.

The problems there are through the roof.

Reason I know...been several times,my wife is from there,and her family are in the process of getting the fuck out.

Mass migration has completely destroyed the once beautiful place.
