All 12 club chairmen unanimously vote for the proposed 12-12-18 setup. So the radical change in the game means we go from a league of 12 to.....a league of 12. Crikey.....that must have taken some serious compromise. The only difference now is that the splits become even more farcical.
This ridiculous idea has been championed by King Fuckwit..Doncaster, as a great thing. We only need to look at Austria he said, where it was used before.
Okay, lets look at Austria....where it was abandoned after 8 seasons because it was shite. He doesn`t mention that part in his promotional manifesto.
Also, why was it only the middle 8 where a reset of points was deemed necessary. Why not all and lets have a sprint finish to the title as well.....no, we couldn`t have that eh. Rantic might lose a bit of form and one of us lot may just do enough to steal it. Hopefully the SFL boot this into touch but i wont bet on it. There will be plenty inducements, threats and bribes to keep them sweet. The Doncaster, Longmuir, Regan comedy act still remains to put the thumbscrews on.
Even by SPL standards, which has a history of ridiculous plans, this is a ridiculous plan. Change but not really change......and that`s about it. Says everything anybody wants to know about the rulers of the Scottish game.....nothing is going to change. Rangers will be back sooner than later and we can all get back to normal.....Dearie fuckin me, what is the point?
