Anyone watch this dire display of debate?
Can’t stand Douglas Ross, but he didn’t stick out as being the idiot in the room.

Depressing.

I didn’t. Who was the idiot in the room, then?

Why is this debate even occurring? This is a UK election which has no relevance to Holyrood or any of the chancers employed to represent us.
It feels a bit odd, but the funny thing is that many of the issues being discussed are devolved. I'm not saying that the UK election isn't material to Scotland on issues like health, but the key decisions are made here. Also, none of those in the debate will be in Parliament. So the point of this was?

Didn't watch the debate will watch on catch up, I did guess it would be a rabble with them all shouting over each other. What is funny though is the Tories and labour criticising the SNP for being "obsessed" with independence, they mention it far more than the SNP.

Usual troupes with the usual tropes.

They've nothing to offer. The staunch unionists might not like it but it could easily be argued neither parties performance elsewhere in the UK is as decent as what's happening in Scotland.

Scotland might not be the sunlit uplands but its a damn sight brighter than south of the border.
