Plus I'm still working on get Nabser up from Waterford for the party, I reckon a couple of bottles of Bulmers (magners) could seal the deal:hmmm

Great stuff mate - it'll be good to see you. I might not be hosting it this year so I should have more time to chat.

The entry price for members is the same as last year: a bottle of Irish whisky!!

Took a while to find a STRAIGHT A3 envelope, as I didn't want to use a tube for the card, Conor. Unfortunately BRIDIE left it behind (at work, couldn't find one anywhere else).

BUT...

She also managed to grab an A3 flat box, an Inch high. Would it be acceptable to send as much stuff as I can in one go, or do you REALLY need the Stencil right now? Everything is there, but I can't help thinking the posters, etc could all be sent at the same time.

Sure, let us know what you think, and I'll do it.

You're right - send it all at once, would make sense.

Look forward to it, the quality of the designs for last year's function once was one of things we were most proud of:applause: :applause:

One and all,

The tickets (5 minimum each) are available from George Kelly, 24 Iris Street, Belfast, BT12 7AR. (Cheques payable to George Kelly).

Thanks,

NIH

Booked my flights this afternoon, bugger it - California, Dublin...another ÂŁ150 won't matter on top of that. You can spend that in half an hour at Temple Bar :yeah:

I'm fecking thrilled for sure!!!

AND we're hoping to announce more special guests nearer the time.

You'll love Belfast BTW, cracking city these days.

Ivan? :hmmm :yipee

That would be good, but it's more likely to be former players because of the Smeltic game.

But you never know who we'll talk into coming across.

A Belfast accent can be very persuasive:rollfloor :rollfloor

Have got Old Man Kevin on board for this now, so thats 3 of us:bbb:

Will work on the Kilkenny lads at the Hun match (haven't given up on Nabser yet either)

Updated the signature in relation to the fantastic announcement above! :yeah: Well done Conor! :worthy

Brilliant stuff - thanks Scoobie.

But getting Eddie to come was a team effort with Hibee Angel and Ned Kelly.

(And we're feeling very pleased with ourselves:yeah:  )

Thats great news about Eddie coming again this year, the 2 remaining members of the famous five - excellent :worthy

You can put me and Bridie on that list Conor. Finally made able to make arrangements, couldn't get Days Hotel this time - had to go for the Holiday Inn Express off Ormeau Road.

That's great news mate:applause:

Look forward to catching up.

The Holiday Inn is a handy spot too.

Ach, it's not too bad. The price was decent and it was quoted for the room, not individually. Wot swung it was that we would've been getting a Joe Baxi anyway, so it wouldn't have mattered if we got the Days Hotel or not.

Funny tho.... Deb goes "what about Stormont, is that far?" Er.... YES! :rollfloor

Actually, we are booked into the University Road one.

The University Road one is home to the Offyerface (AKA Orpheus) nightclub.

The front of the place sometimes turns into a Vietnam re-enactment at closing time, so you both might have to open a can of whoopass when you get out of the taxi!

:rollfloor Sorry - it's not that bad really.

Oh Joy!
Now I am worried.
I did request a quiet room though...shall tell Scoobs to pack his ear plugs!

I did say the Holiday Inn Express OFF the Ormeau Road. I believe University road is OFF the Ormeau Road, and I don't believe that there are any other Holiday Inn Express's that are just OFF the Ormeau Road.

Do you think I main my point clearly enough? :rollfloor
