Laser surgery doesn't last long and may need tweaked in the future. I had lens replacement done, a bit pricey but hopefully it will last my lifetime.I’m considering going for it, currently wear contact lenses daily.
Anyone had it done?
I considered it a few years ago but one of my colleagues had it done and the improvement in one of his eyes was negligible, nocturnal lenses were recommended so I gave them a try and have found them fantastic, lenses go in before you go to your kip and out when you get up , none of the daily challenges you get with wearing lenses during the day.I’m considering going for it, currently wear contact lenses daily.

Ortho-K lenses are what they are generally called, I got them from Browns opticians Piershill.I haven’t heard of those before, will look into that! Cheers
Aye that was the other option I’ve considered, how have you found them so far?
All good. Play a lot of golf and was struggling to gauge distances and also had difficulty even seeing the pin from about 100 yards. Now everything is crystal clear and even the tiniest of print when reading is fab. I got the multifocal lens. Each eye took about 10 mins and absolutely painless. Ps my golf is still shit.I haven’t heard of those before, will look into that! Cheers
