Me and 5 of my mates (18-21) are going for 10days in august, and was wondering if anyone has been and could recommend somewhere to stay? and anything worth doing? seeing ect, I wanted to go to Tenerife as ive been before but my mates want to go to lanzarote.

Puerto Del Carmen is the best bet. Just a mini Americas really. The pubs and clubs are in complexes like the 'Veronicas' so drink enough and you wont know the difference anyways.

We went to breezy Costa Teguise and had a blast mate.
Only 20-30 mins from Arrecife Airport.
Nightlife was more lively than rowdy but the totty was high quality.
Not that i could do more than look as i went with her indoors but i had to rest my eyes on return!
Transport was v.good mate to visit other parts of island.
