Klitschko v Fury

Seems to have been an epic encounter...and an epic result

Wladimir Klitschko v Tyson Fury: WBA, IBF, WBO title fight - BBC Sport

I didn't think you would be into violence as a sport son - maybe I've misjudged you.

I know there are a few 'reformed thugs' posting on the Bounce, and maybe even a couple who are still likely to administer a slap rather than a verbal rebuke.
From your posts on here I thought you were a sensible bloke, bit of a scientist, certainly not one of the baying mob sat salivating at the sight of a couple of warriors battering lumps out of each other. Not like that kevinc bloke - who no doubt watched the sorry spectacle.

Just shows you eh?

:glassraise:

At the moment, TalkSport are drowning in their own cum. I can then assume that the guy that isn`t Klitschko won?

I'm not sure that's TalkSport you're watching.

I'm seeing similar, and it's definitely not TalkSport. It's a 'new private window' job.

:lookaround:

I`ve got the radio and it was definately TalkSport. It didnae cost me much though.

I paid for my 'private windae' in advance... :lookaround:

I think I may have exposed myself.....

No, the webcam is disabled, but somehow it feels like I've given too much away.

Is this site under any sort of surveillance does anyone know?

Congratulations SKY , you have fcked up another sport. The vast majority don't give a flying one about it , or even realise it's happening , and the ones that do are treated to just plain over paid whinkers plying their trade.
But the subscriptions just keep on rolling Happy fcukin days

Shite fight. Neither deserved to win. Give me the belts for eating 20 chicken mcnuggets

Boxing is totally goosed. Sky exclusivity might have lowered interest but crooked judge results, more belts than Rain Man could count, no big characters selling themselves and boxers having the ability to choose to fight jokers or good fighters past their prime at a time of their choosing has killed the sport.

I honestly think UFC has smashed boxing. Fair judge results, top 10 ranking system, no dodging opponents, one belt per weight, a strong female division that can headline stadiums, big characters and the beauty of mixed fighting disciplines so every match is different.

Boxing is dead, could count on one hand the matches I've really wanted to watch this century.

I agree though would be first to admit to being no afficianado of boxing and ufc does nothing for me . However when I occasionally see boxing it's a world away from say, hagler vs heavens - the first round of which is still the most awesome round I've seen - and the early Nigel Benn era or, of course, Tyson. Maybe it's tehnically a high standard but compared to these brawls it's dull as dishwater.

too young for that Dubster!

Saw all the above live (well live tv) but Ali was retired by the time I started watching.

How so? I know nothing about him till I saw him playing the fool at the weigh in at end of last week and they showed previous footage of him turning up dressed as Batman?
"There are only three things that need to be accomplished before the devil comes home: one of them is homosexuality being legal in countries, one of them is abortion and the other one’s paedophilia. Who would have thought in the 50s and 60s that those first two would be legalised?
When I say paedophiles can be made legal, that sounds like crazy talk doesn’t it? But back in the 50s and early 60s, for them first two to be made legal would have been looked on as a crazy man again. If I would have told you 120 years ago, that a 1000-tonne aeroplane is going to float through the sky, a piece of steel — ludicrous."

Not exactly "float like a butterfly, sting like a bee" in its catchiness. Seems like an absolute wank. Not often that British Boxing fans can't stand a British world champion.
