Sad news. He was possibly the original football superstar who crossed over into massive endorsements, talk shows, game shows and a even a top 10 hit in pop music.
And that was all before his massively entertaining managerial career.
 
Tragic, I used to hate him when he played for England but in the 90's his Newcastle team alone justified the Sky Sports fee! I remember the Keegan hysteria in the Toon when I studied there, last century!
 
He's got a tough road ahead, he'll do it as he always done things with his heart on his sleeve.

Loved the comment about don't build a statue until I'm gone. Aye, he still has his good humour as he faces his journey.
