Had to be shortened as 7 miles of the over 200 mile route was through 20mph zones. Interestingly it wasn't because the bikes would have to slow down, because bikes are not under the law to keep to the speed limit, but that the support cars would be unable to keep up.
Did anyone else know bikes were exempt from speed limits?

Strange one that! Not that it’ll affect my cycling as the fastest I’ve recorded was 37.5mph with a gale behind me on a 60mph road.
 
Think that’s the Welsh just being Welsh. Pretty sure the Isle of Man has speed limits but that disnae stop motorbikes hareing round the island racing

That's standard for some chipped E-bikes now.
My pals goes 40 pretty easily. Fairly certain he's no upgraded his tires or brakes yet. Keep warning him, expected to hear he's mangled himself

Mine’s not chipped - motor stops at 16.5 mph.
