Don't suppose anybody knows where I can get a part time job to raise money for Uni?

Good for you!!

Might be hard to come by these days, though. Shopwork was the best option in the olden days. I walked down Princes Street asking until I got a job. If you're planning to study something vocational, you may get firms offering a bit of admin work but it depends if your available office hours. Jobcentre Plus, I guess, they are better now than in my day but they were utterly crap in my day.

Have you had a look at the university's own website, Ross? The one I work at has a page with regular job vacancies advertised within the organisation. Might be worth a look.

Good suggestion.

My department at Uni held a register of firms wanting to employ students. Good work that was relevant to the studies and was useful to have on the CV when it camer to finding a full time job.

What you going to be studying?
 
Sorry guys, wasn't too clear in the OP.

I'm not yet at Uni, but looking to go next September and so I'm trying to build up funds for then.
