Yesterday was a sad day for me and a whole host of people who thought he was a great comedian. He was funny but also such a nice friendly guy I had the pleasure to meet on a few occasions. He was always willing to help out anyone who had a campaign to run if he had the timeif he agreed with the principals.Unlike some comedians I could mention he always stuck by what he believed in and never sold out for the Man.You wouldn't see him wearing a red nose or going over to Africa to shed crocodile tears. He never quaffed a beer he didn't like for an advert and he never let you think he believed something which he didn't.He wouldn't have been telling down right porkies about Jeremy Corbyn because he desperatley wanted to keep his nice comfortable middle class lifestyle-step forward David Baddiel,Graham Norton and yes Frankie Boyle. He will be sadly missed by whole swathes of people when these lesser comedians are just a distant memory.'Northern Ireland is part of Ireland and quite clearly not part of Britain as can be seen from aerial photographs'.-Jeremy Hardy.
