UKIP vote was enough to deny the tories victory in enough seats that had that vote gone to the tories they'd have won a majority.
of course this assumes that UKIP voters would otherwise go tory, and that tory policies that would win UKIP voters wouldn't cost them other votes. nonetheless, interesting.
