Do you agree; if so, what does it say about us celts?

We're only happy when it rains?

Speaking as an Irish Catholic, I am constantly amazed at the "my way or highway" attitude exhibited by far too many of my countrymen.

I couldn't help but make the connection when watching the scene in "Happy Feet" where the heid penguin was trying to keep the flock from discarding the "old ways".

as a son of an Irish catholic mother and a presbyterian father i must be a right miserable **** then

thank god i was raised C of E.

see when people talk of 'guilt ridden' catholics or sexual repression - noone seriously means the tallys or the french do they? they mean the irish. and the scots presbys are the same.

and even when they turn atheist they're always hating everybody else and especially themselves and fastening onto to bitter victim politics, chippy insecurity and all round miserableness.

fucking rubbish; i blame the weather.
