Afternoon all,
Thought I'd do a minor intro as suggested by the welcome email. I'm 45, born in England, live in England, support an English team (Doncaster Rovers). In the late 90's my dad (separated parents) took a job that required relocation to Edinburgh and specifically Leith. He wasn't mad into football but was one of those who lived in loads of places and embraced all things local so kept an eye on Hibs as encouraged by most of his colleagues (a few Jambos ignored). In the early 00's I was a student and he pulled the nepotism card to get me a couple of summer jobs and lets be honest - there aren't many places better than Edinburgh to be in a UK summer. Went to watch a few games over the years, the first one being a last minute collapse to Aberdeen after Paco Luna had put "us" 1-0 up in the first half - slightly similar for today. Followed from afar and still do and due to the nature of modern football can see a lot of games now. So whilst I can't really converse on the famous players of old, be sure I saw plenty of early 00's Hibs to know it can be bad at times.
