Bit late, but BBC1 are currently showing Kazakhstan v Wales, kicked off at 3pm and on BBC3 from 7:30pm is Luxembourg v Northern Ireland.
(No cut and paste required).

Of course Michael O’ Neill late of this parish, is the Northern Ireland manager.

I’m sure, don’t need to mention this, but as I started the thread yesterday, going to mention Denmark V Scotland at 7:15pm on BBC Scotland, for those of us elsewhere, it’s on BBC2 at 7:30pm.

Think Clarke is desperate for the sack.

A goalie that's not played this season with a striker that's that played the odd few minutes as a sub.

This is Clarke's last qualifying campaign...whether make it to the WC or not.

A poor game, but Scotland have defended well.
We have no creativity and no serious goal threat but it was ever thus.

Clarke's main strength as a manager was always organisation.
If little else, he knows how to set a team set up to stop the opposition playing.

No surprise that Scotland always seem to look more solid away from home.
At Hampden, when the fans demand that we attack, we are too open and the better teams deploy their counter attacking game and create lots of chances against us..
A draw would be a very good result here, though I haven't been very impressed by Denmark.

Dykes :sm113:

That's a very good point for Scotland away from home tonight.
Defensively I thought we were excellent, and we looked a well organised solid unit.
Good to see Grant Hanley having a very good game.

Where we lack any sort of quality whatsoever at this level is in the last third.
That chance muffed by Dykes being the clear example.
For once, a good build-up and a striker who has barely played for his club in months dithers, stumbles and loses the chance.
You can't hesitate in the box at this level, you have to hit the ball immediately, and at least work the goalkeeper.

Dykes and Adams are not really international standard, but they are fed on a diet of crumbs and spend most of their time in a Scotland shirt running channels
and chasing shadows. Just a matter of time before Kieron Bowie is Scotland's main striker though.
It's still really potential in Bowie's case, but he has to be given his chance...and Doak should be a starter from now on as well.
Creativity and goals sadly lacking.

Well done Scotland.

Scott Brown seemed to think Hanley hadn’t played any minutes up until now.

Research lacking perhaps.
Needs to use DuckDuckGo

Btw how farcical was it to see that VAR check for the potential hand ball ?
I sometimes think i'm watching slapstick comedy when watching football now with the VAR interventions.
It was barely a booking never mind a possible sending off.
Don't get me started on Thomson, McFadden and McCann and co...absolute slavers.
