How to eat toast properly

I had scrambled eggs and toast earlier and there was one be bit green mould on one of the slices.

But being a pensioner now I scranned it anyway.

A game changer for me was someone suggesting seasoning my toast.

Sounded ridiculous, but a wee pinch of salt and black pepper on a buttery bit of toast is a whole new world. Been doing it ever since.

Salted butter, none of that margarine pretending to be butter, with a bit of pepper is the way to have toast.

I remember an ex girlfriend going absolutely ballistic because I hadn't buttered toast right into the corners. I always thought this was a bit of an over reaction.

My wife hates soggy toast. I think you need to let it stand for a minute or two before buttering it to stop this.

Butter on as soon as it hits the plate for me
