That video purporting to be Russian indoctrination of kids in Mali is intriguing - by the way I would caution anyone who wants to believe that Ukraine is entirely liberal from checking out the twitter feed it comes from!
But I note the kids are doing their thing in front of a communist flag. Is this contemporary? Are the Russians still playing the communist card in Africa or is this old?
In any case, while this video is obviously in the business of ginning up support for Ukraine, I expect it contains a chunk of truth.
Much though some prefer to laugh it off, the threat they pose is growing. Western societies are hopelessly divided due to culture wars the Russians and Chinese help nurture, and the illegal migration the Russians also help with. Woke has also helped drive the global south into their arms, as well as them and China chucking dosh about.
Europe is emasculated and enfeebled; it cant afford to defend itself, swathes of its people arent willing to defend it, countries within it are facing internal conflicts, major countries are flirting with bankruptcy.
If Russia can address the glaring birth deficit it shares with Europe through use of colonial troops, then combined with its far greater military capability, its hard to see how a Europe unprotected by America could do much against it.
But we are still asleep, still pissing around with decadent nonsense and unable to defend our borders from gadges in dinghies. Russia doesnt actually have to do much in the west of europe other than nudge along entirely homegrown national suicides. It will then be free to do as it likes in the east, and hey some western populations may eventually welcome it in, in the event they fall into civil war.

Even if the video is older, let's say from when Russia were in Africa in the last few years, ut still shows how they will indoctrinate kids. The videos from inside Russia are even crazier, showing kids in nurseries dressed un military gear acting out parades and singing patriotic songs.
The only thing I would say is that we on the other hand have little sense of nationality and prefer to think the status quo for us will just exist forever...sleepwalking as you say

By older i meant soviet times, sorry! But I have to say the film stock looks far too new for that and probably if I looked closer there will be lots of stuff that proves it isnt
