Hospitality At Hampden

I never get the outrage at prices for hospitality. You either do it or you don't. The market sets the prices. What do folk want? The Scottish Government to nationalise it and run it at a loss subsidised by increased Government borrowing or taxing the rich?

Do you say the same about football tickets in general? Should Cup Final tickets be fifty quid, for example, since there are plenty people who would pay the price?

I don't get upset by hospitality prices, I'm not sure hospitality has ever been aimed at your average supporters except maybe as a special day out.

What's your opinion of the UK governments spending something like a billion a year on the Arts? Subsidising rich folk to go and watch the opera and ballet for example?

We get our football quite cheap really compared to others on our door step. Do we get value for money? IMO we don't. However, complaining about the price of hospitality at football is like complaining about the cost of business class on an airline. There's an argument to say dafties paying these prices are subsidising the rest of us.
