Full Time: Hibs 2 v 1 KF Shkëndija

Kerr hit woodwork twice
Kerr should have gone to their player leading up to their goal instead of standing off him and giving him an easy option of a pass.

Too busy wrestling , after reading the excitement on here when he signed I'm not impressed

Im not sure that its much better coaching we need tbh
That aswell, we're seriously lacking in areas, we've not properly replaced key players over two windows. Who has identified some of these players as being good enough, they should be out the door aswell.

I thought we were awful tonight. We are far too slow. At times basic passing is an issue for us. We look devoid of ideas. There's little creativity or bravery. There's good individual talent but there's no cohesion. I more fear us taking a battering from someone than I have hope something with this system is going to click to make us a good team to watch.

A good victory given how poor we are. They're not that great so I more fear ourselves than that lot in the second leg.

This wanker lives in Turkiye. But still has a Hibs season ticket and member of Hibs first. Was at Denmark and Poland last year, missed Belgrade cos I was ill. Been in Albania/Kosovo this year and booked for Skopje next week. Do me a favour, fuck off
Oh an Uber Uber Uber fan ? Congrats 👍

I have never seen a Hibs team so devoid of energy as we were tonight, especially in a dreadful first half.

No creativity either, and Gray has to change this new shape as Chaiwa and Mulligan cannot operate as an only two in midfield.
Both looked fucked from early in the match and they are being asked to do far too much in this system, especially in this tough schedule of matches.
But the whole team looked drained from early in the match and it was only the introduction of the impressive pairing Wright and Suto to give some much needed energy and movement, which turned the game for us. Yet again a goal conceded right after we score.

The first time in the match we actually created a chance in the penalty box and surprise surprise we score with it.
Really wish we had scored with that header at the end.
However we take a lead to North Macedonia which is what we needed, but we are going to have to raise our game and play with much more intensity, energy and cohesion if we are going to get through this tie. Hibs look all over the place just now, no cohesion whatsoever in the team.

I thought they were ok but nothing special. We have it all to do next week, but at least we go there with a lead which is vital in Europe.
We will have to score over there though IMO.

How does it work as a Hibs First member living abroad? As it’s an away games scheme closed to new members

We won while looking like a pub team for 75+ minutes so that is a positive. First time I've seen Wright and he was he difference, actually excited about him. Suto is much maligned but I like his attitude, at least he wants to play at pace. I thought Passlack was really poor tonight and as for Chaiwa and Muilligan I doubt either of them will ever play as bad as that again in a Hibs shirt so things can only get better. Mayor put some decent balls in that should have been attacked but on the whole looks very limited, tentative and one footed. Lowe looks pretty clumsy to be honest but good attitude, can see him getting a few though. Our best spell came when we went 4 at the back, players looked more assured and purposeful. No chance we'll set up that way next week!
