Hey folks,

Not posted here since I was at school and going to Hibs games (but still read Just Back every week). I've been in Toronto since, watching along on HibsTV.

My name is Isaac Callan, I'm a reporter now in Canada and a lifelong Hibs fan. I've got my first book coming out in May and it's about that wonderful day in 2016.

The new book, Hibernian Heroes: The Team That Ended 114 Years of Hurt, is on pre-order special right now. It is £14.79 from Amazon and it is £14.99 from Waterstones if you order online/on app with the code FEB26.

I have enjoyed writing it so much, and I hope it is as much fun to read. Among the personal highlights was a really candid interview from Fraser Fyvie about just how close he came to "going for" Jason Cummings in the Dundee United semi-final, incredible details from Andy 'Taff' Holden about how he and John Doolan helped David Gray practise his headers all season and memories from Liam Henderson about crashing his car the night before the 2-2 derby, knowing he couldn't tell his dad about the repair bill if they lost at Tynecastle.

Good afternoon, Hibees! Thanks so much to everyone who pre-ordered the book so far. Just sharing we also have a launch event, raising money for HSF.

Fantastic gesture, hope the night goes well for you.

Maybe by then the Hertz will have Jambottled It & you can start penning your new book.

Had pre ordered on Amazon pal, first chapter in and the scene is set, ‘we’re beating them already, George’

Thanks again so much to everyone who's ordered the book so far. It means so much to me. If you've read and enjoyed it, I'd be so grateful if you left a good review on Amazon, I've been told it helps a lot. 💚 🤍 🥬
Weird seeing Mark Strachan reviewing it just a few days ago........... :sm113:

Really enjoyed it. I’m old enough to remember the ‘going ons’ in the early 70’s, so interesting to hear what was happening behind closed doors.

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed it. It's so rewarding hearing people had fun reading it because it was so great putting it together and speaking to those heroes
