Hes only just stating reality. Its only those who live in their own made up worlds who cant grasp it. I see no one at he bbc has apologised for the utter lies and half truth told after the game. Shockerooney. We will wait as long for the apology as we have for the utter garbage they spouted after 21/05/2016.

Exactly.

A month on and reflecting on the end of the season I think things need to be put into perspective.

First things first...Hearts didn't "bottle it" at the end of the season.
They certainly did 40 years ago at Dens Park, but not this time.
They just weren't good enough to see it over the line.
Their away form throughout the campaign cost them the league...nothing else...not dodgy decisions or SFA conspiracies.
1 victory in their last 8 away against against 9 man Hibs at Easter Road, and even in that game they struggled to get the win.

Celtic raised their game in the top six matches and their big game experience and ability to cope with the pressure at the business end of the season saw them through, and of course they had the sense to get Martin O'Neill back. O'Neill worked a near miracle by managing a mediocre Celtic squad to the league and cup double given where they were when he was brought back.

Hearts had a great season no doubt, they came very close to achieving the seemingly impossible,, and IMO the gap between Celtic and Rangers and the two Edinburgh clubs and Aberdeen, whilst it will certainly be restored next season, I don't think it's going to be as big a gap as before which should give us all some hope.
Hearts will be favourites for third next season, but I think they will find things much more difficult.
They ultimately failed to get the job done and IMO they will never again have a better chance of winning the league.

They went into the final game needing a point to win the title, having lead the league for almost the entire season, took the lead in the game only to fall behind in the 86th minute and lose it all… if that’s not bottling it, nothing is. It’s one of the biggest bottle jobs in football.

Agree with the rest though - they weren’t good enough. They wouldn’t have even been in with a sniff of the title had the old firm not messed around with Martin and Nancy.

Hearts have lost their best player for nothing, looks like they’ll lose their second best in Devlin for nothing too, and will probably cash in on Braga… Next season will really show how much substance there is in this analytics stuff, and whether McInnes is anything more than a hoofball motivator.

That would be the icing on the cake. I overheard an irate jambo in the pub a couple of days ago rabbiting on as to how awful it was they were cheated out of the title. Its only going to get worse as they struggle with europe and the league. When they realise they aint getting anywhere close again they will be even more bitter. Not a good place to be.

To make it worserest for them they all now hate the Scotland team in the World Cup 😆

No respite from their hate. It's not good for them 😂

JAMBOTTLED IT 100%.

They won 1 away game in their last 7 games, let's have a guess who that was against. They couldn't beat Livi relegated, St Mirren play offs, Kilmarnock fighting against relegation. One win against any of them and they were champions.

They had a great season 🤔. Surely St Mirren had a greater one after all they won a trophy & stopped Celtic winning the treble.

And if Mcinness leaves for the Huns that will be the icing on the cake.

65 - 86 - 26 NevEr let them forget.

Not sure how true that is as there seems to be loads of jambos in boston according to the dons fans. Say one thing on keekback then do the opposite. Surely they arent that two faced are they?
