This is all perfect for Hearts. They can focus on Celtics penalty v Motherwell that gave Celtic 2 more points but just forget the 14 games they didn't win.

Hearts needed this, it's not their own matches that are the reason it's a game that didn't actually involve them. A fucking joke of a club.

They keep banging on about it not being a penalty to Celtic against Motherwell , for the life of me I can’t see how that incident was not a penalty, it clearly touches his hand which is up by his forehead. There’s even a photo of the Motherwell players hand taken after the game😂

Even funnier was 1 week later we go to ibrox, Boyle's great goal chopped off for a handball, comes from behind him, hands by his side, ball skiffs his hand without him even seeing the ball and goes onto score great goal….. disallowed. Oh well. Nothing to see there ya junkie cvnt…

They're expert's at blaming other's for their failure's. It's no fair, it's no fair. Cry baby's the lot them, alway's have been.
 
The fact is they dropped too many points and allowed Celtc to go into the last game still with a chance and got beat. Nearly but not quite again. What was their fanzine called?
 
It was Hearts away form, especially in the second half of the season, that cost them the league.
Their home record was superb, unbeaten in the league at Tynecastle, they won the vast majority of their games at home only dropping points to Motherwell, Rangers and Kilmarnock.
However, they only won one of their last seven away games, and that to 9 man Hibs when we gifted them the game on a plate.
No doubt Hearts had a phenomenal season, but they just didn't have enough to get them over the line in the end.

O'Neill managed to get a tune out of a mediocre Celtic squad and they won their last seven games, which is what you need to do to win a league title.
You have to go up a gear at the business end of the season, and Celtic yet again managed to do that.
I've never liked Martin O'Neill as a person, I think he is a patronising prick to be honest, but he is a very, very good manager and Celtic owe him a massive debt for getting that squad of misfits the league title from where they were.
