Eh, sorry, but I don't understand what you mean with the second sentence?
SF isn't my genre at all. I've read virtually nothing in the field. I'm very much of the opinion that Murakami is the greatest living writer we have just now though. Although, before it's pointed out, I haven't read every book ever written.

If it's the wikipedia description of it you've read, it's about the worst thing I've ever read on Wikipedia. Terrible.
