Greetings green army.
This is my first time on HibeesBounce. Was at the replay on wednesday...WHAT A NIGHT!! Hearts were so bad I thought at one point after the break it looked like Neil Lennon was just sending out Marciano to face them..it was so eeeeaasy!:gunts:

Well that's it Lenny and Gary P gone sacked, left, kidnapped, missing in action, abducted by aliens we know more about what happened aboard the Marie Celeste.
Hibs fans seem to be devided over Lennys 'release sacking by mutual consent no hard feelings old boy '.
Some feel it was time for him to go others like myself are sorry especially the way it happened.
I was at the St.Mirren game, what a shite 1st half couldn't pass the ball, no fight, clueless. Fair enough 2nd half turned it round 3-1. Let's not kid ourselves it was St.Mirren (no disrespect buddies) and our goalie kept us in the game we were lucky to come away with all 3 points!
Never saw the A baaaa rdeen game but didn't expect to win considering all the injuries and new signings expected to hit the ground running.
Back to the manager situation apparently Paul Heckingbottom of Derby Co. is favourite. Don't know much about him I'm only interested in Hibs and Juve. If he does get the gig the singing section will have their work cut out for a chant
1 Paul Heckingbottom
There's only 1 Paul Heckingbotto.....nah it's no got the same ring to it!
Well like I said I'm going to miss Neil Lennon I think Hibs fans owe him a lot.
So Neil here's to your passion for the game, your frank comments, criticism of match officials (90% justified)your spats with other managers maybe not some of your starting 11. You're celebrations were quality and I'll miss the pure mentalness of it all cause even if we didn't play well you always gave us something to talk about in the pub afterwards.
I hope you enjoyed your time in Edinburgh (well the green side of Edinburgh) and wish you and Gary all the best
Thanks for the memories. GGTTH.

I'm a Hibs supporter. I owe Lennon nothing. He had the privilege of being manager of my team. He did what he was paid to do; sometimes very good, sometimes good, sometimes bad, sometimes poorly. When the chips have been down in these last couple of months, with the players that he had at his disposal, he has engineered one terrific display against one of the ugly sisters and a reasonable performance against the other away, but he has proven clearly lacking in being able to change tactics when things have been difficult for us. I wish him well in any other managerial posts he gets but like many Hibs supporters, and there are a few, I am not sorry to see him leave.
I apologise sincerely for responding to your post, given that this is a welcome thread.(forum).
And I reiterate my apology.
Nevertheless, welcome.

Say it like you see it. No problem pal you're right in it being a privilege to manage Hibs and personally I got that impression from the man.
The way he went...something stinks!
Overall I think his positives outnumbered the negatives we have been struggling with team members being fit so it was never going to be easy regardless of who the manager was. The position in the league well ultimately it lands at the manager's feet but what went on with players the manager and upstairs well I for one don't know.
I'm concerned as to who is going to take his place.
It's a bit ironic that one of the problems (not all) was a shortage of fit players, now we have new players and no manager, no disrespect to Eddie who stepped into the breach.
Anyway thanks for your reply.

Cheers pal,to be honest I'm a bit of a dinosaur when it comes to technology. It's a bit of a miracle I managed to post this on the hibeesbounce site it wouldn't have surprised me if it ended up on a scummmy jambo site.
Talking of miracles see we're 1 down at Disco Paradiso. Hi hum let's hope we can turn it round in the 2nd half.
Keep the faith. ✊
