Her Oscar winning performance in Women in Love was brilliant.
First saw it at the pictures in my teens. Still in my top 5 films.
Memorable moments...
Eleanor Brons pretentious dance for guests being cut short by Alan Bates getting everyone up to do the Charleston.
The tragic death of the two newly weds by drowning.
The nude wrestling of Alan Bates with Oliver Reid.
Glenda Jackson shooing away Highland cows by dancing elegantly in front of them.
Oliver Reid's long walk at the end.
If it does get repeated and you've not seen it, do.
Ken Russels best in my opinion.
