Glasgow 2014 baton in town

Has anyone been to see it?

I caught it at London Road and there was more policemen than people. Maybe only around 20 folk on the entire stretch of the road between ER and Leith Walk and some of them were just folk going about there business.

Have seen and heard the Royal Mile was fairly busy and the tram leg had its spectators but it looked like the local community weren't all that fussed.

I needed to be in Holyrood Park this afternoon. Roads closed. Restricted access. And not a soul in sight.

Nobody gives a frupwnny fwck about the Commy Games.

Strange it's on today when my sister is carrying the baton on Tuesday at Milton Road.

Tuesday is it entering East Lothian from Midlothian so that'll be why, I guess?

West Lothian tomorrow and Midlothian (non-Edinburgh bits) on Monday.
