Maybe sport's science, dietician, and ultra fit training regime can't beat a good old bevy during the week with lite training session finished off with a kick about on Saturday.

As we all know, it’s despicable to wish serious injury on a professional football player. Not even one who has riled us pretty severely. In fact there are no circumstances that I can think of where such attitudes are even remotely acceptable.

So on that basis I’m confident that we are all entirely innocent and non-culpable in any way for this guy being out of the game for months.
