Personally i think we are primed for selling,new training complex,books balanced,talk of new stand,ABSOLUTELY no overspending anywhere.crowds increased,these are trademark signs for a business to be sold.Sir tom has done what he set out to do and may have had enough now.i think it could be the perfect time for someone new to come in and take us onto the next level.

Been thinking that for a few seasons now but . . .

how much do you think it would take to buy control of Hibernian Football Club nowadays? Generally, clubs change hands when they're in financial trouble - Hibs won't be sold off to the first guy to offer sweeties. The land alone (including East Mains) would be worth a fair few million.
 
What happens if we land up with Romanov mark 2? No Hibee wants to belong to a circus like that, lets keep the "Not For Sale" sign up :applause:
 
Not sure how much we are worth but sir tom would want to break even at least. I reckon we are worth a right few quid when you see what you are getting.
 
Forget romanov the dancing queen poof, farmer wouldnt sell us to put us back in the shit.

I wouldn't think "breaking even" comes close. IMHO, Sir Tom could pocket a hefty profit even if he sells for sweeties. What has he actually invested (hard cash-wise) in Hibs, apart from interest-free or low interest loans? If I remember correctly, his rescue package took the form of a guarantee to the Bank for the Club's debts and not of a multi-million pound injection. If I'm wrong about that I do apologise and I'm sure my mistake will be pointed out to me very soon.

It's called being realistic. A lot of rich people fancy themselves as managers but don't want the day-to-day hassle of actually being a manager :coffee: Do you seriously think that some massively rich guy is going to buy us and invest millions in the team?

Only thing for certain is that we the fans who have put up our money will get shafted if and when the club does get sold! I think the current owners are going to make a killing when they sell and for what investment exactly from their own pockets?

Never said that but do you think there is no one else out there who could buy hibs and run better ? , I do and he doesnt have to pump in millions either ,your first thoughts are a guy like romanov straight away .
Your not being realistic mate,so basically your saying every rich huy out there has got the same mentallty is romanov ?????
