Hearts (H); Derby hard to predict at the best of times, but home advantage usually a factor. I'm afraid I just don't trust this Hibs team to win a big game when it matters. (Draw)

Celtic (H); With them having to win every game it's going to be tough, but they are not very good. We have only lost to Celtic and Rangers at home in the league in over a year, but it is going to be tough going at this stage of the season IMO. (Defeat)

Falkirk (A) They have already got top six so might have lost some focus. Again though our away record this season is so bad I wouldn't be putting money on us winning at the Falkirk stadium. (Draw)

Rangers (A) They need to win every game now, and given our away form I'd be pleasantly surprised if we take anything. (Defeat)

Motherwell (H) We haven't beaten them yet this season, but they have imploded. Hopefully we are still in touching distance of them, but i'm not holding my breath. Think we might win this one. (Win).

So five points. Really hoping they can prove me wrong and we win the derby and maybe get a win at the Falkirk stadium, but it's all about next season now for me. Couldn't care less who wins the league. Honestly.

Haven't expected us to get any points in the top 6 games for a while.
Nothings changed really.

Draw with Hearts
Beat Celtic
Lose to Falkirk
Lose to the Buns
Beat Motherwell

Really only bothered about the Gunts game if I'm honest, beating them is a must.

I’m not convinced some of the players are that good
Neither am I to be honest.
I keep hearing from many fans including mates of mine that Hibs have this really good squad of players and it's just that the manager isn't capable of getting enough out of them. I just don't see it.
I think we have an ok squad of players who occasionally play well, but as soon as we face any sort of adversity or we need to hold out in a game, or win a big match we fall to pieces. We still, believe it or not, have a chance of catching Motherwell, but we are where we deserve to be in the league.
So many points have been chucked away.

I think there's much, much more to be brought out of that squad.

We've watched that same squad when they play out of their skin, we know what they're capable of.
General consensus is Sir Dave cost us more Europe. I find that harsh, but accept the argument given how I view the rest of the season.

I think the only game we're likely to get anything from is the Hearts game. Pressure is fully on them, they've shown a willingness to slip up. There's a reason for us to go and give it everything.

But other than that, we're too soft and there's no desire from the coaching staff to throw those players at it.
Caution comes first. We're more likely to draw every game than we are to win one imo.

Extra thought.

This might end up happening, and end up being enough to get us above Motherwell and that might be a success....

Its been a shitshow of a season.
Was plenty of investment too.

We were fantastic in Europe.

But the league has been absolute garbage.
So much reliance on same tactics every week, losing late goals most weeks,no plan B.

Sir David has done a good job at times here...but I just cant see how he pushes us further on.

Our defence is a fucking joke at times...and he was a defender.

To date we have lost 37 goals in the league.
Tony Mowbray team at end of season shipped 56 goals.
Both defenders

Point I was trying to make was he was also a defender with a 💩 defence.

Tony from my memory didn't care about defending.
And Sir Dave is all about not losing. He'll sacrifice a shot at winning to avoid coming home with zero.

Positions don't matter, it's mindset. Ones negative, the other was balls to the wall. 60 minutes of 100% half an hour of let's see what happens.

Least that's how I remember it.

I have a dreadful deeling that we will lose to hearts after some dodgy referee decisions, hearts will lose to Falkirk and Motherwell, and then we will win them the title by beating both ugly sisters since they will also have dropped points to Motherwell or Falkirk.

That being said... I'll be so happy if we win the Derby and finally knock hearts off the top.

Seen a graphic yesterday that suggested we have the near worst post split points percentage out of all teams - maybe Gretna were worse

I think 9 points or greater should be achievable. I think anything less than 5 would be extremely poor.

Surely top priority is 4th place, then stop Herts winning SPL ? As we can see literally anything can happen efter Huns horsed Falkirk 6-3.

6 points. Hopefully we beat Hearts but if not knowing this Hibs side they’ll turn up the following week and beat Celtic. We’ll beat Motherwell final game.

If Falkirk make the cup final their players won't be all out saving themselves for the big day. Draw wi Hertz, beat Falkirk and draw Wi Well and royally horsed by the old firm 🙏

I like it a bit that we got beat before this. Let them come into it thinking they'll stroll it. We'll turn them over royally :grinning-smiley-045:

I'm saying 9 points for us. Gunts, Falkirk, Well.

It's hibs we're talking about, we'll probably beat hearts and think yes we've made it harder for them to win the league, then we'll go and fck it up by beating both the uglies 😁

I think we beat Motherwell, draw at Falkirk and win one of the others. Knowing our propensity for the bewildering and frustrating that'll probably be Celtic.

We secure 4th on the last day, get Europe and everyone should be happy, but everyone is fucking raging and wants SDG sacked because Hearts win the league and we didn't stop them.

Seems about right for this season....

Just. Beat. Hearts.

In all honesty, other than that I'm sort of past caring, and just want the season to end. The 25/26 season ticket hasn't been much in the way of entertainment value. Hoping 26/27's offers more.

Not me.
Want rid because he's negative, boring and has shown not a single shred of change this season.

From first kick, to last kick, we play the exact same style and gameplan. Week in, week out.
