Meanwhile, Hibs were today poised to add Republic of Ireland Under-19 striker Kurtis Byrne to their squad. The 17-year-old, son of former Celtic star Paul who played alongside Collins in Glasgow, scored while playing as a trialist as Hibs' Under-19 side beat Inverness Caledonian Thistle 3-1. Byrne has secured his release from Norwich City and will sign for Hibs under freedom of contract. Collins said: "He's a good quality player with potential and at 6ft tall he's a good size for a young boy."
