Should stick to cars and rockets, forget all his other madness, tunnels under LA, bio-chips and the likes.
 
It’s not just him . I often wonder how people who think nothing of spending around £1000 on a meal and bottle of wine , who then turn on their tv and see kids having to raise money to get a life changing operation . Surely you could just get a perfectly good meal for £100 and then donate the rest .
Maybe I would be different if I was rich , but I honestly don’t think so .
Then you get tax dodging multi millionaire celebrities coming on children in need asking us to give generously . Does my nut in , turns my stomach .
 
Finally got round to watching his rocket explode.
I take it that's what started this thread?

I think his rocket is pretty amazing tbh, first test launch of the largest rocket ever built. Of course it was going to explode, anything after getting off the ground is a major success.


His money could obviously help a lot of people and I'm sure some of it actually does.
But the fact he's using his money to try achieve things instead of just hoarding wealth is decent enough.

How much of it is even his money? I know his buying of Twitter isn't personal wealth. All his rocket stuff must have some degree of funding through the government and NASA.
 
I can't f#cking stand him. I think he looks a hell of a lot smarter than he is because of the money he's been afforded at the beginning of his life and then he (which is smart) surrounded himself with people that made him look intelligent. He's definitely on some kind of spectrum whether it's ADHD, Aspergers, etc. He treats the common person like dog sh#t he can wipe off of his shoe.

Aye, he's a *&*^ likesay. Apparently the higher ups at space x and tesla give him busy work to keep him from doing real damage.

He's a rich (and therefore dangerous) idiot
