Teuchters at William Street. Cracking boozer. Bout 10 minutes walk (all uphill im afraid)

That used to be the Dragonara then became something else.

Not been there for a while but there used to be a pub within the grounds called the Granary, it used to be quite expensive. The closest pubs are in Haymarket and up Morrison Street and pretty much something for most folk.

On the way there you'll be walking along Palmerston Place. There used to be a number of hotels there with bars that were quiet but OK.

As you walk from the hotel up the hill (its up the way every way, cant think of a worse hotel for someone disabled) you'll first pass a private garden (big wall and hedge) on the right hand side where a famous Hibby once walked his dog. As you pass No.54 look up to the first floor that was where George Best stayed.

If keep on Belford Road, heading east, you'll hit the West End, nearly all up hill.

thanks for all your replies i know the area but could'nt think of pubs round that area
