Having an issue with downloads on my memory stick. Can get them on it but can never watch them via my Xbox anyone had the same problem and is there a way round it?

What file format are they? Generally the Xbox 360 seems to be better at reading file types than PS3 but there's still some that neither play.

your xbox and pc must be connected to a router? just share files through windows media.

when you connect usb/memory stick to a PS3 you need to put video files in a folder named VIDEO. for some reason they wont be recognised otherwise...strange yes!!!

I have two PS3 consoles and I have never had to create a folder name video, of course it's optional if you wish to keep your files in set folders. It should just be a case of drag and dropping the files on a computer and then plugging the usb/hdd into a PS3.

Cheers guys, I figured out the problem. Xbox only recognises Avi downloads. Biggest problem is finding a decent download site as piratebay/pirateproxy is now closed. Im using Torrentz the now but finding its stalk limited. Any other suggestions?

as mixu said... isohunt, and eztv are 2 main that i use.

There are plenty of pirate bay options still available pal. Just Google piratebay mirrors list and you'll get loads of options. I use the one that links to Annonymus on Google+, it gives about 25 links to choose from. If one site gets shut down you just move down the list!

defo, im up for 1st game o season and staying up for the week till the derby, but aint going to the saviledome, will watch it in the Happy.
