Doncaster

It makes NO difference who got the gig. They are both corrupt, self-serving, incompetent cretins who are concerned with their own self advancement and have shown very little interest in developing the game in this country. Doncaster seems interested in Scottish football purely as a commercial venture and Longmuir was happy to sell out his own member clubs for the sake of SevCo.

The chance has been missed to look outside the usual suspects and appoint someone with integrity and vision.

What am i saying? Integrity and vision......from Scottish footballs leaders...:rollfloor
An opportunity has been lost. Prepare for more of the same, Old Bigot dominated agenda. :banger:

When the next TV deal comes up, maybe he'll be able to negotiate more money than Norway get.........then again maybe not.

Now no-one can say that Scottish football hasn't learned its lesson - the establishment of a new league was a perfect time to make a break from the past. That's why appointing a new chief executive without any connection to the shambles of last couple of years was essential and that is exactly why they ignored that and appointed one of the architects of the shambles. Utterly depressing.

What I don't understand is how someone like Campbell Ogilvie is untouched by the scandals at the clubs that employed him. It's corrupt.

Either Longmuir or Doncaster? Sweet Mother of God, give me fucking strength!

For those who run Scottish football the choice between Longmuir or Doncaster should have been a true dilemma -- a choice that is not a choice. But it's illustrative of just how perfectly those who run the game in Scotland have fucked up Scottish football that they actually thought they had a true choice. They actually believed that their monumental decision would have some bearing on the future health of the game.

Should we be surprised? We would be, if it wasn't for the fact the game is run by a bunch of mediocrities. time-servers, bigots, corner boys and snake-oil salesman in suits -- expensive suits paid for by ordinary fans.

I could not actually pick between the two of them. It's impossible. As soon as I start to sway towards one of them -- and only as a result of considering how utterly abhorrent he other is -- I am immediately halted by the appalling prospect of choosing the other one. The thought process goes something like this: Longmuir is a total jobby, I'm voting for Doncaster. But wait, Doncaster is utter pondlife, I'm voting for Longmuir. Hold on, Longmuir is a ... ad infinitum.

Was it Bill Shankly, on being asked who he preferred to win between Manchester United and Everton, who said is it possible for both of them to lose? I know exactly how the great man felt.

Trying to decide which one would be better.......by deciding which one is the LEAST corrupt and incompetent. :surp@

Throw in the fact that these two morons have the most astounding arrogance and gall to be even seeking this office at all, after their individually, excruciating and shameful performances last summer and it becomes even more ridiculous.

Well that appointment will freshen Scottish football up like an unwashed erse after seven vindaloos and fifteen pints of guinness. Scottish football the home of honesty and integrity since em, never. Here's the choice, would you like roasted over a fire or boiled in a big pot.

:pf:

No surprise there. Doncaster, Longmuir, Regan, Ogilvie are all crooks looking for their big payday and it's Scottish football that continues to suffer.
These feckers are meant to promote the game worldwide, ensure the member clubs are in a healthy financial position, oversee grass roots football and help encourage youngsters to get involved. Instead they are too busy with their snouts in the trough.

Is there anyone who thinks that any one of these jokers is honestly bothered about the state of the game here rather than the bank balance of the SPFL (or whatever it's called this year)?

It's because he specifically is thick as pig shit and signed whatever his big boy pals told him to sign. There's nowt going on up there. He's a nice guy but should not be in a position of power.

An ex in-law with whom I'm great friends grew up with him in the weedge.

Edit; that sounds like I'm excusing his dodginess. I'm not. Merely explaining what I believe to be the cause.
