I encountered one of those twenty first century etiquette dilemmas this morning and seek the wise counsel of my fellow Bounce members.

I was sitting on the toilet when my mobile rang, flashing up with a number I didn't recognise. I'm currently waiting to hear about a job so after havering for a couple of rings I answered. It turned out to be my mate's missus asking about arrangements for something or other. I was then forced to continue the conversation while hoping the echo of the enclosed walls wouldn't give away the fact that I was actually mid movement while concentrating on not making any loud splashing noises or involuntary grunts.

So, fellow bouncers - do you answer your phone when you are on the throne? If so, do you let on?

Thanks

Yup; and depends who it is. If it's my mates, I take great delight in informing them that I am laying a giant cable.

If it's my mate's bird, not so much [emoji1]

As above, it depends. I'll happily tell the wife/friends/most family I'm
having a Barry White if they rings me whilst on the throne.

An unknown number, I'd perhaps have been more cautious.

I'd be cautious about using Facetime in these circumstances.

Top marks for the thread title.

No dilemma as the phone doesn't enter the bathroom.
End.

I will answer the phone if I know who is calling and it's one of my mates and like aggie I would happily tell the caller I'm having a dump. If it was my mum calling though I'd leave it and ring her back later.
