The bold Farage was among a gaggle of people giving testimony to the US Congress this week, the subject being the decline of free speech in the UK and Europe.

Now there is obviously a bit of irony here, given the Democrats and their deep state are cut from similar cloth, while the boorish bully Trump is no stranger to pursuit of revenge against foes and pretty darned draconian against lawbreakers. Its further ironic given its ivy league madrassahs gave our fabian schemers their latest cudgel with which to beat the plebs, the yids, and others.

Nevertheless, its fair to say that both american arse cheeks remain more wedded to free speech than those fabians, their own deep state, and European technocrats out of the same mould.

There seems to be some considerable shock in America at how far down the road to authoritarianism Britain has travelled, and I wonder what the consequences might be.

Is it time for international sanctions against us, or can the whole edifice- which is manifestly starting to crack- be brought down without such measures?

No doubt to be replaced by an opposing form of authoritarianism, such being the nature of spirals. Pity then, that these progressive fuckwits got that cycle going. Thanks again Tony Blair, destroyer of worlds.

I think that's Scotland in general. In the same way it's been very awkward to have been openly tory for the last 50 years. I don't think that's marked a shift in admin policy, but I do feel a sadness for the rise of the right in Scotland reflected on here.

From a personal perspective, I'd say yes, to a certain extent. I've used many a derogatory term to slag off our rivals, as have many other bouncers. I think he is an obnoxious man but I think some of the stuff he is doing is urgently needed, and his team see the world more clearly than most of their critics. Other stuff is barmy and yet other stuff is very unpleasant. No Trump derangement syndrome here, but neither am I a fan. My main complaint, aside from him as a person, is he is too often guilty of the same as the deeply unpleasant and sinister establishment he presents himself as opposing.

As a non theologian but a practising catholic I'll tell you what I mean by calling Q demonic - which afaik applies both in religious and secular meanings of the word. I wont call it satanic cos it's not that clever.
