I hope you watched that this afternoon. I hope you watched it and at the end had a drink and a smile. You were a massive part of that win, and deserve recognition in my opinion. You took on the big job when we were truly rudderless and it was bleak. You went back to basics, steadied us, and helped us progress. You left us in a far better place than when you started the head coach job.

Thank you, SDG.

I never subscribed to the theory that JC won the league cup with Mowbrays team and even though yesterday's team was very much SDG's players, its "The Professor" who deserves all the credit for the team selection, motivation and subtle tactics.✅️

SDG deserves total respect and credit in his own right for rebuilding the team after the meandering inconsistency of "The Slaver" and the airy fairy nonsense of the "Yorkshire Pudding II".

For SDG to then get his team to 3rd and then 5th in the league with two European campaigns was a very solid achievement and ranks SDG very highly amongst the last decade of Hibs managers since the peak years of Tony Mowbray.✅️

SDG's league achievements were impressive before the downwards slide but its "The Professor's" responsibility now and he has given himself an absolute rocket boost🚀 with yesterday's team selection, motivation and subtle tactical adjustments and all around general demeanour with the players. media and fans alike and its great to be on board.😅.

Well and rightly said.

Oh no, I completely agree - I'm a huge fan of Reedijk and have been for a while. I personally feel Gray DID steady us after a long period of shite, but had reached his ceiling as our manager. Yesterday was absolutely MR and deserves the plaudits. I really look forward to what he can do with us.

Same negative folk like you are probably were shitting themselves yesterday and writing the team off
Fucking do one with this shit. You don't know me and you're obviously useless at reading comprehension. I've been consistent since he got the job full time that he wasn't the right choice. As far as Hibs and the team go I may be thousands of miles away but I support them fully, even consistently saying the players were behind the 17 game run which Gray gets all the plaudits for.
As I say fucking do one or put me on ignore.

Finish third and wasn’t the right man for the job … slaver . Im
Guessing if new manager doesn’t finish second, you can tell us all from day one he wasn’t the right man for the job

No he’s not … nobody is suggesting Dave won the match yesterday.

Dave been a fantastic servant for hibs . Same negative folk like you are probably were shitting themselves yesterday and writing the team off
I was shitting myself and writing them off even before the game... and that's mostly due to the absolute dross we witnessed under gray... yes he was a great servant as a player and manager but his team played shite football..it was time for change.
