Nice to see Chelsea getting whooped 3-0 tonight. Darren Fletcher AND James Morrison in winning team. Roll on Euro qualifiers!

Not according to Tony Pullis, who has went on record to say that WBA have became a much better team as a unit since he arrived.

Not that i'm fussed one way or the other, it's just something i saw on Sky sports news a couple of weeks back.
 
Wayne Rooney was asked a while back about what he thought was the key ingredient that made Manchester United the great team that they were over a sustained period. His answer was Darren Fletcher. Highly rated by his peers.
 
Fletcher at his peak was fantastic. He does the dirty work for the team and is a great motivator and professional. Nice boy too - something you can't say a lot about Celtic fans from Dalkeith. :077:
 
Alex Ferguson consistently picked him in the starting line-up for Man Utd in every big game that he was available to play in.

He was a decent judge of player.

However, for Scotland it has been slightly different as for Man Utd he wasn't seen as THE player whereas for Scotland he has more pressure on him to create etc as he doesn't have players around him who are quite as good as his former United team mates.

Is he not a Hearts bastard as well? Or at least showed some dislike towards Hibs in the past? Can't remember where I heard this tbh... :hmmm
