A DRUNKEN mum was caught having sex with a man in a police car park - but insists it was all a terrible mistake because she's a LESBIAN.
Officers were forced to separate Leanne Richardson, 26, and Ross Welsh, 30, as the lusty pair romped behind their cop shop in full view of shocked passers-by.

Bizarrely, the semi-clad strangers had only met shortly before their 4pm sex session.

And Richardson - who lives with her older female lover - said Welsh clearly isn't her type.

Speaking after they were reunited in court yesterday, she said: "It is no secret I'm gay. I didn't know him and haven't seen him since."

The pair were fined 200 at Edinburgh Sheriff Court after admitting a sexual breach of the peace.

Lawyers told how sozzled Welsh had met Richardson in a pub while on a FOUR-DAY bender to celebrate his birthday.

They were then caught in a clinch at the city's Portobello police station after a member of the public reported seeing Welsh "naked".

Richardson later said: "I admitted having my trousers and underwear down. It was him that was trying it on with me."

The mum-of-two told how she openly lives as a lesbian with girlfriend Josephine Samuel, 49, whom she met 15 months ago.

Dunno about that.The car park in question is used by alot of school & nursery kids going and coming back from Towerbank Primary.If I had happened upon two drunks from The Galleon shagging away I'd have done exactly the same and grassed them in.I really cannot think of a worse place from a wee bit rumpy pumpy...the place stinks of piss and is covered in dog shit.

I was telling the Mrs about this incident in the car park and i said "Though why would anyone report them?".

And she reacted with incredulity pointing out what you do above.
