Picked up my prescription yesterday and they had missed out my Atorvastatin so I phoned the doc back and got it sorted. My missus suffers every now and again from Sciatica and she telt me yesterday it was back again.
This morning I had 2 junk emails, I usually get a couple every day but todays were...
'Cholesterol Control Made Simple' and 'This vitamin kills sciatic nerve pain'

Also if you talk about anything on WhatsApp you will get adverts on that same topic on Facebook, Instagram etc as they are all owned by Meta. Not possible to opt out of it I think. Facebook is utter dugshite these days, news feed is just adverts and "suggested for you" but nothing from friends or pages you follow

Indeed it does. My MiL has an iPad that occasionally chimes in with “I’m listening” with that HAL2000 voice. She just about shit herself the first time it happened

I always thought the 'phone listens to you' thing was a bit too far, and it was much more likely (or defo is) the thing that Kev describes; where its stuff you've typed in that the apps use. Just seemed to me that it would be far too scandalous a thing to be doing (i.e. listening in) if ever a company was caught doing it.

However I must admit I've been wavering a bit, similarly to you, just with a few weird things that my wife and I have noticed. Plus these tech companies have shown themselves to be willing to plumb some depths in the quest for more cash. Undecided!
