Cognitive biases are an interesting theory of how we think.

System 1, which I think is becoming more prevalent in human thought is our instinctive thought.

System 2, which I think is becoming less prevalent in human thought is reasoned thought.

To simplify it is system 1 is 2+2 = . We all know it's 4. We know it instinctively.

System 2 is 23 x 14. We need to think about this. Most of us can suss it out. It's 322 if Zitelli's lost his calculator. But we all needed to think slowly about it even if we're not Zitelli. We needed to think slowly, remembering orders of calculations from school.

System 1 is not to be overlooked. At times we need to think instinctively.

But I'm of the opinion we ignore system 2 too often. And system 1 is fraught with errors. We jump to our pre-conceived notions too immediately.

I'll continue when I've actually read the whole book.

Anyway, I'm back c#nts. After a banning for well... During which time I got asked to re-new my private membership. System 1 thinking there, Jamie boy. lol. I'll pay if I last a fortnight.

Hibs were sort of doing alright and now fading somewhat. As per. used to it. Wouldn't surprise me if they got relegated to the highland league, wouldn't surprise me if they won the Champions league. I just look on bemused, expecting anything. Which is why I fkn love them. lol. God love Hibs. They're there to test us my fellow believers, they're there to fkn test us. lol.
