Clark Carlisle fighting for his life

The former player who is probably best known as the (first black) PFA dude in England is fighting for his life having been hit by a lorry today just outside York. It is well documented that he has tried to take his own life on more than one occasion as he suffers from bouts of depression however there is no immediate indication this is the case. Police seem to be investigate a number of lines of inquiry. What a horrible day.
