Chris Cadden, not good enough

I asked a simple question. What would you class us as being a big team?
If based on major trophies we're joint 5th with the mighty Queens Park.

When do we start playing like a big team then. No won a major league for 70 odd years, took a 114 years to win the biggest domestic trophy.

You are talking about averages. In England West Ham have the second biggest stadium and 2nd highest average attendance, Spurs have the 3rd biggest stadium and the 3rd highest attendance. Not going into all the other stats but Spurs aren't in the top 5 of trophies won & West Ham not even in the top 15.

And were joint 5th with the mighty Queens Park on trophies won.

And queens park were once a big team. Arguably the biggest team in football at one time.
Every other metric brought to you shows why they're not a big team now.

Trophies the only thing you've got? Compared to the rest that was put to you.
Think you lose this round.

Could be a draw, as Hibs one the majority of their trophies before I was born, one most of their European ties before I was born.

When born there was Turnbulls T, then 0-7. I was to young to witness this.

Our league finishes over 50 years have been nothing to shout about. Arguably back in the day Queens Park were big in Scotland, Hibs were one of the biggest teams in Britain.

FFS Hertz have beat us mare times than we've beat them at ER.

LIke QP we're no that big team we used to be.

The argument isn't big team in world football
The argument is big team in Scotland.
If you don't think we're a big team in Scotland you're a part of the issue from my seat.

If they used to be big in British football, they were obviously bigger in Scottish football. We're just not big as we used to be.

I'm not an issue, it's just that my opinion differs from yours.

What is your opinion ?

Are we a big Scottish club or not?

It's a yes or no, we're not comparing us to the Tornadoes days, I'm comparing us to the league in the current landscape.

So underachieving for so long, means we shouldn't expect to achieve going forward?

Sleeping giant, heard that all my life.
Waking up starts with the support, if we can't expect better, there's nothing pushing them to get there.

Neil Lennon was right about Hibs.
Always talented, always soft.
This.

The mentality is pathetic within sections of our support. And also within parts of our club (though generally IMO within the club it has got better).

There's far too much acceptance of mediocrity. "This is as good as it gets". "Be careful what you wish for - things could get worse".

It has to change. I'd love to see the leadership at our club much more challenging in our expectations and demands. If the Gunts have had a title challenge this season why the fuck haven't we?
