Long time poster on .net since 2007, and would like to post on here too.

Born in Drum Terrace so must be one of the closest Hibbies born nearest the centre spot! lol

Season ticket holder within the East/Pat Stanton stand with my eldest son and my other lad is in the west.

Travelled to Liege (89), Anderlecht (92) back in the day and helped an agency to charter a flight to Athens in 2001 for the tragic AEK game that was sadly cancelled due to the 911 attacks.

Highs of Skol Cup in 1991, 5-1 game against Kilie in 2007 and the glorious 21.05.16 win which was our nemisus which we put to bed, but lows include 79 Cup Final, Aberdeen 85, Rangers 93 at darkheid, Livi 2004, Celtic 2001, the shite in 2012, Celtic in 2013 and St Johnstone in 2021 and numerous semi-finals disappointments.

Pat McGinlay was my favourite player and how i wish we had a player like Pat these days.

Anyway, will contribute from time to time but i don't get quite as worked up as I used too. Oh, and FTH :-)

Welcome along - not getting too worked up will definitely fit in better here than dotnet (I'm on both sites) , but we still have a few fannies on here 🤭
I'm sure you'll quickly figure out who's who.

welcome to the Bounce Davy

Ahhh the Athens Charter flight is a Memory that will live with me forever.
From the highs of Meeting the squad at Edinburgh and filling a 747 with singing Hibees (it was a 747 right, I’ve maybe imagined that) and seeing the wee Thai cabin Crew equally aghast at the singing and the alcohol consumption.
Then the low of being told on the tarmac at landing that the game was off.
To the incredible adventure that was that first night in Athens and the subsequent week on the Greek islands waiting for the game to actually happen while trying not to reach the redline on my student Visa card.
Then an adventurous flight back to Manchester via Scandinavia and a city link back to Glasgow.
WHAT A TRIP!!!!

Welcome to the bounce @DavyMac, you helped organize the first flight of a ten days I’ll never forget. For that I thank you, thank you, thank yoooouuuuuu

Quite an adventure!

I was on the charter flight too, but returned home and missed the 'second' game.

Who can forget the wee square full of pissed up Hibs fans all singing "Eck the Boss" and inhaling helium from balloons bought from a wee lass who must have made a fortube!
I've tried. Believe me I've tried.

(That's before the Judas bastard 'turned' obviously.)

Or the wee cobbled street with two or three bars who let us out put flags out their upper floor windows. “Sit down if you hate jam tarts” and a hoard of passing tourists thoroughly confused why 90% of the street is sitting on its arse singing.

Hope you’re doing well Doc. There’s an angel high above tonight grinning like a Cheshire Cat. Fuck the huns!!!!
