Car problem.

Can any of you knowledgable bouncers help?

I have a renault megane with one of these card key thingy's on friday attempted to start the car the normal way of inserting the card and pressing the start button however a message on the dash appeared "Steering Locked" and the service light came on..

Seems to be totally immobilised, Any ideas folks?

Aye this is quite a common problem. The car is made in France, the way to fix it is to buy one made in Germany next time. :smug:


Or have a search on google, I did and it came up with a list of possibilities. Firstly check your fuses, in particular Fuse 19. If that doesnae work then have a scan through this link http://www.howtomendit.com/answers.php?id=110590
