Playing Hampden in August. Buzzing I got my tickets this morning. Any other fans in?

For me he's right up there among the greats out of our wee country, but seems to get slept on a wee bit by our people. A Dumfries lad born in 84, made his first album (which sold tons) entirely himself in his bedroom. Continues to put together all his own music. Has now went on to become one of the world's biggest musical artists, and has created some top-tier records, both of the musical and statistical variety:
  • 11 UK No.1 singles and 30 UK Top 10 hits
  • His album 18 Months became the first by any artist to generate nine Top 10 singles on the UK Singles Chart, breaking the previous record held by Michael Jackson
  • Accumulated over 20 billion+ total streams
  • Has won a Grammy and numerous Brit awards
  • First artist ever to have three songs simultaneously in the Top 10 of the Billboard Dance/Electronic Songs chart
  • Set record for highest ever paid DJ in a year - $63M in 2016
He's boosted countless other artists with producing their tracks as well. Folk like Dua Lipa, Sam Smith, heck even Rihanna relaunched her career thanks to him. And as for some of the 'romantic partners' he's had.. He's immense. A Scottish hero, and one we should appreciate and be proud of.
